Lovely shirts! Remind me a bit of Liz Claiborne late 80s.

  2. Merry Christmas, Rose! The shirts are in the Madison Ave. Collection store and were a bright spot on a gray day.

  4. Merry Christmas, WFF! Hope your wishes come true too. I don't wish for much this year- health, wealth and a warming blanket. Wait, I got the last one, cross that off my list.:)

  6. Ah, Liberty prints. They come and go, one of the little bedrocks of our world.

Hope you are having a Merry Christmas time. Up North, we celebrate all the way to 12th night! Everyone has ( electric) candles in their windows at least until then, a welcome antidote to the darkness that falls at 4PM here. I too have more global than personal wishes as I am more than fortunate( no mortgage...);why doesn't everyone have health insurance, still? Why is there still illiteracy? Of course, we must all live our lives so our personal quests for certain, well, shoes and dresses will also continue.

  7. Hi, Lane, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too! I've got lights strung on the terrace rails, and it's really fun to look around to see what's happening on other people's terraces. It's very dark - well, it's night - by 4:30 or so, but the long nights will shorten soon. Meanwhile those flowered shirts were a nice surprise. At $150 per, however, I can wait.

Speaking of floral shirts, does the name "Cacherel" ring any bells?

As Alice Roosevelt Longworth said, if you've got anything bad to say, sit next to me! No, really, please remember to be kind, and don't say anything fred's mother would not approve of (Diner's mom didn't approve of anything. Including fred.)
