    1. Thanks, FFM, I didn't care for it when it first appeared at FP, but strangely, now I love it.

  2. Such a deal! And you got to try it on. And I thought I did well with the black Lucille dress for $60 in a rare B&M visit ( although i hear we are getting one soon).

    1. So here's what happened, I ordered it at FP last year when it first appeared, I don't think it was in stores then, tried it on, hated it, returned it. Then saw it on markdown racks..? as the price dropped, it somehow didn't look that bad. And then, when 40% hit, called a few random stores and got lucky. I wouldn't plan a wardrobe around this "technique," but as Pop used to say, sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you. This time I got the bear.

    1. Yes, it's so nice to get a package with a good surprise. Makes up for the birthday discount which will not be coming.

  6. Guess not. This would be a good time for someone to remember the original price.

  7. We don't get bday discounts, do we? I have others rolling in for my "big' day next month, but no love from JC. I think the matinee was close to $300, wasn't it? Love the length.

  8. Thanks, Lane!
Sadly, not even a trinket or a "one-use" free shipping code.
The Anthro greeting + tribute is here, this could be a good August what with all the early arrivals of Fall merch.

  9. Great score! Did they have any more left? I would take a size 4. :)

    1. Hi, rose, seriously, if you do want one, I suggest calling CS and asking them to do a store search, to get an idea of where one might be, and if they locate one, at all costs avoid WWFIFY. Call the store yourself, and ask for a charge/send, directly and again without referring it over to WWFIFY. The W-etc seems to take 2 or 3 extra days, during which the item can disappear. That is why the pic is of a store receipt and not a web packing list. I drive hours for food, but even I have limits.

    2. Thanks for the suggestion, WFF!

  10. Nice work. You will love it in inclement weather. I wore mine quite a bit in a short period of time.

  11. Thanks, Gigi! I guess that means it is truly water resistant? Couldn't tell for sure from the catalog copy or the web discussions.
