the last day of the last month without an R

facing seasonal obsolescence:
this is a really silly oyster look-alike, because the little cookies don't look a bit like oysters, since neither the shell nor the innards are grey. On the other hand, didn't we all have enough grey food in our school days? I sure did.

  1. It has been so revoltingly hot in Denver since May that I am more than ready to bid adieu to summer.

P.S. I was going to make a pink oyster comment, but then I was reminded of Comment Requirement #3.

    Have a marvelous long weekend!

  2. It's obviously another wonderful addition to your recipe collection.

  3. Hi, tiffany rose, absolutely, although I worry about the effect on those who have never seen an oyster in real life, where even the yummy ones look a little gloomy.

As Alice Roosevelt Longworth said, if you've got anything bad to say, sit next to me! No, really, please remember to be kind, and don't say anything fred's mother would not approve of (Diner's mom didn't approve of anything. Including fred.)
