I found some stocking stuffers just for you!

These are little gems that I found when I was supposed to have been updating my blog, polishing my travel posts, getting closeups of good and not-so-good parts of recent purchases… sometimes bloggers just want to have fun! So, first, meet Katy and Katie of the wonderful Just The Tips . These women know how to test out internet advice, and, just as I check out restaurant reviews before confirming a reservation, I check out Katy and Katie before trying anything that even remotely resembles a helpful hint.

And of course, while we all love Downton Abbey - whether to play the Improbability Drinking Game which is best when a very old person who likes his/her tipple and is fussy about style and manners is on your team, or to goggle at the clothes or the silver service, or to…. Well, as the D&D of Windsor used to say, Le coeur a ses raisons. Nevertheless, sometimes one must miss an episode. In such event, I suggest catching up via the Facebook Summaries, posted on Happy Place  which haven't yet failed to make me smile.
And because it's possible that someone hasn't yet seen How to Wash a Cat , here's the link.

Ok, back to work, little elves.

As Alice Roosevelt Longworth said, if you've got anything bad to say, sit next to me! No, really, please remember to be kind, and don't say anything fred's mother would not approve of (Diner's mom didn't approve of anything. Including fred.)
