can anyone identify this bag?

This picture, showing the bag that I'm loving more and more, is shamelessly copied from an otherwise undistinguished group of photos published in Refinery 29, purporting to show street style. I thought this one was the only photo in the group that had any kind of style, largely because of the bag. I'm hoping that a reader can identify it!

...and upon reflection I'm also hoping that it will be available in some other colors. Picky, picky.

  2. So funny, as I just saw that pic on Pinterest and was wondering who made the bag as well! Will have to check back to see if anyone identifies it!

  5. That was me who erased the post.

I looked at the source code but couldn't see anything that identifies the bag, unfortunately. The search continues. :)

  6. I asked on the Refinery site in the comments to see if anyone knows. I also glanced at The Locals blog and Facebook but can't see it.

  7. It's a Celine vertical Cabas tote, here's a discussion about it with a couple of photos http://forum.purseblog.com/celine/vertical-cabas-owners-how-your-bag-holding-up-685095.html
I believe that it came out last Spring.

  8. wow, thanks, Cris, that certainly looks like it! the discussion on the purse forum was interesting, too. In fact, with the short handle drop and the wear issues, I've stopped drooling. Back to real life.

  9. I like the zippers on this bag; on dresses not so much. Great color too but totally impractical for me. Can't imagine what the price tag would be.

  10. I'm curious Fred, what are the features that you like, the shape, the size, the zippers? You mentioned it was not your color choice...

  11. hi, Lane, no idea about the price, but Celine is expensive indeed.

  12. hi, xoxo, my first impressions were just misleading: well, if they made it in this very saturated blue, I thought, there may be a luscious caramel or coral. Apparently not. Also thought that the zippers (shown closed in the picture) might have hidden vertical pockets, handy for tiny portable umbrella or for documents. Again, not - according to the purse blog ladies and their pictures, the zippers just expand the bag, thereby making it a target for the maps, keys, sunglasses, etc of a certain person with whom I frequently travel. So again, not for me. and finally, I thought the top might have closed, again, couldn't tell from the R29 picture. I don't use open-top bags, except for groceries or beach towels, and for those uses canvas or straw does me fine. So, although I'm grateful to have learned more, I'm not going to stalk this one. Moreover, the Ralph Lauren site just took another 20% off the sale items, or most of them, and with at plus another 10% from an Internet coupon, little "ahems" are getting my attention.
