everyone's a fashion critic

with thanks to the wonderful people at someecards.com.
Come to think of it, they may not have meant
to evoke stripe overload, but this sure did for me.

  1. Ill fitting striped sweaters... reminds me of something! The one on the right looks like it is covered in half-attached sequins.

  2. Hi, Dani, hmm, wonder what comes to mind! Besides Dennis the Menace, that is.

I've received 4 or 5 emails telling me that in the summer when Gayle Spannaus goes to the beach, she packs a bathing suit, flip-flops, hat and cover-up. Gee I'm glad she doesn't bring ski pants and a hooded parka. I keep wanting to put up food and travel posts, and I've found another wonderful horrible recipe, but this in-box material is irresistible.

  3. Like many, I'm getting striped out. Just received the Gondola coat and I'm trying to decide how I feel about it ... and getting jaded on the inbox stuff too.

  4. Hi, tiffany rose, they learn nothing, they repeat everything, isn't that how it goes? maybe not.

  5. If only we had the power to delete clothes from other people's wardrobes.

The J.Crew emails have been pathetic lately. I got the "7 things about Gayle" email about seven times. It's pretty much a quick check for any hint of a promo and then I hit delete.

  6. My ex boyfriend wore stripes and plaid every single day. I wanted to get rid of everything he wore. Drove me nuts.

As Alice Roosevelt Longworth said, if you've got anything bad to say, sit next to me! No, really, please remember to be kind, and don't say anything fred's mother would not approve of (Diner's mom didn't approve of anything. Including fred.)
