Yikes, miscalculated time difference! No time to shop!

So I'll dash out and find gloves before the stores close, will add materials to create fascinator to carry-on, got makeup, got dryer & flatiron, decided not to bring jewelry since sleeping arrangements are, um, informal at best,

and here is my dress. Oops, that's the linen jacket.

That's the dress. Midi length, silk jersey, Ralph Lauren. Won't snap shoes - dashing. Wish me luck. Pinning invitation and jellybeans to dress, don't dare lose them!

  1. Best of luck! I can't wait to see your fascinator. I am PVR-ing the ceremony and will be watching for you. Have a wonderful time.

Do you have your copy of the 22 page booklet on Royal Wedding etiquette? I saw a news clip this morning with one of the ladies who put the info together. Cannot wear white or cream, she downplayed the wearing of fascinators, and told the lady interviewing her that her purple toenail polish (worn to acknowledge the Royals)was inappropriate. 22 pages...Wow! Enjoying your posts!

As Alice Roosevelt Longworth said, if you've got anything bad to say, sit next to me! No, really, please remember to be kind, and don't say anything fred's mother would not approve of (Diner's mom didn't approve of anything. Including fred.)
